Accommodation Service

“ACCOMMODATION SERVICE” REGULATION

  1. The service defined by the acronym ACSER “Accomodation Service” consists of the provision of a single or double room bed that has become available in the Institution’s Colleges during the year.
  2. The awarding of the position is reserved for students enrolled in undergraduate, doctoral, graduate school and master’s degree programs at the University of Pavia.
  3. Bed reservation is made exclusively by filling out the appropriate “Form” on the website. Requests for stays of less than the minimum duration of 30 days will not be considered.
  4. The allocation of beds will be made respecting the order in which the application is submitted, giving priority to applications for longer periods of stay.
For students who have already been guests at an EDiSU College, acceptance of the application is subject to the following requirements: (a) not having received previous disciplinary warnings; (b) have attained at least 40 percent of the credits from the previous academic year, compared to the credits for the same year in the last approved curriculum; (c) define with the Dean a study program aimed at obtaining the missing credits for confirmation in the college for the following academic year.
  5. The bed allocation is confirmed upon payment to EDiSU by bank transfer, within 5 days of EDiSU’s notification of the acceptance of the application, of deposit of € 250.00. The deposit will be returned at the end of the hospitality, upon verification by the Institution of the good condition of the room, or retained if the reservation is not finalized by entering the College and signing the payment commitments, or taken to offset any amount due for hospitality and services enjoyed.
  6. Tuition payment will be made monthly in accordance with the rates approved by the Board of Directors available at the appropriate link and cannot be offset against the scholarship amount.
  7. The student is required to pay for the entire period booked regardless of the period of actual stay at the boarding school.
  8. Treatment for boarding school guests includes the use of general community facilities (study rooms, living rooms, libraries, sports facilities, etc.), washing of room linens and room cleaning, except for Quartier Novo College. In terms of tutoring, cultural, sports and recreational activities, students admitted to the college through the ACSER procedure are for all intents and purposes equated with alumni of the College.
  9. The ACSER service does not cover the month of August, while it covers the Christmas vacation period in the case of boarding school occupancy.
  10. The use of ACSER service and the enjoyment of hospitality in the Colleges will take place in full compliance with the Rules and Regulations of the Institution.
