Alessandro Volta College – Merit College

Collegiate complex located in the Cravino area, an area of settlement of the scientific faculties of the University of Pavia.


The College is named after Alessandro Volta in tribute to the scientist whose bicentennial of the invention of the battery was in 2000.


It is headed by Prof. Angelo Maria TAGLIETTI, Full Professor at the University of Pavia in the disciplinary scientific field CHIM/03.

  • BATHROOM: Each room is equipped with its own bathroom, there are also 15 shared bathrooms
  • CONCIERGE: 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Friday – 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday – closed Sunday and holidays, in addition to closures as per the academic calendar
