Call for college placements

Access is by open competition, the notice of which is published annually and is available on this website.

The application for admission to the competition must be submitted ONLY ONLINE in the section“ONLINE STUDENT SERVICES.”

WithONE online APPLICATION, the student applies to EDiSU for ALL BENEFITS THEY ARE INTERESTED IN for the academic year (multiple applications cannot be submitted by the same student). It is understood that the application for benefits must be submitted by the earliest deadline specified in the notice for which the student is applying(For example, if a student is applying for both a scholarship and a boarding school place, he/she will submit ONE online application to apply for BOTH benefits and the deadline will be that of the boarding school application).

Colleges and Residences Fees

Pupil(s) pay an annual tuition, differentiated according to the economic conditions of their household, set annually by the Board of Directors of the Institution.

Treatment

It is diversified according to the type of Community. Colleges offer an integrated type of service: general community services (study rooms, lounges, libraries, sports facilities), the washing of room linens, and the cleaning of rooms.

The Residences provide common rooms, libraries, and sports facilities in order to foster appropriate gathering times.

Reservation of places

The Pavia EDiSU (in agreement with interested associations and local authorities, the University of Pavia, the IUSS, or other Entities for the management of the right to study.) reserves places in the Colleges and Residences for students enrolled in individual faculties or degree programs, as well as for students from foreign universities with agreements.

Postgraduate posts

At each College and Residency, places are reserved for graduate residents and postgraduate students.

Access to the Colleges of Merit

ONLY students interested in entering the CAIROLI College (men’s college) or VOLTA College (mixed college), in addition to assigning the chosen college a score of “1” in the Online Application, must compulsorily fill out the QUESTIONNAIRE (downloadable in the section below) and send it, no later than the deadline of the announcement, to EDiSU Pavia, uploading it as a computer document (pdf format) in the “Upload Documents” – “Cairoli Questionnaire” / “Volta Questionnaire” section, found in the “Online Student Services” area.

CAIROLI College and VOLTA College are accessed by application of additional evaluation criteria (read carefully art. 6 of the notice of competition for accommodation in EDiSU Pavia Colleges).

Delivery of foreign documentation

Students required to submit original foreign documentation for assessment of economic status can go to the counters of the Economic Benefits Office (Via Calatafimi, 11), by the deadline in the announcement , ONLY by appointment, to be requested by opening a ticket on “Online Student Services.”

Alternatively, the student may send the original foreign documentation by postal service or other carrier (expense to be borne by the student) and it must be delivered to the following address BY and no later than the deadline in the announcement: EDiSU Pavia – via Sant’Ennodio, 26 – 27100 Pavia, Italy.
