EDiSU Colleges

Colleges can be defined as “integrated service systems” that represent, in a small- to medium-sized university like Pavia, the most functional model of realizing the right to study.

They meet multiple student needs: from basic logistical and instrumental ones, related to the need to have stable points of reference that guarantee easy attendance at university courses, to those of social and relational integration, and educational and cultural needs.

The formative and stimulating climate of the Colleges can be recognized, among other things, in the implementation of a range of activities parallel and subsidiary to those of the university (internal organization of conferences, debates and seminars accrescitive to the preparation acquired in the course of studies) and in the collaboration with universities, local authorities, associations, to promote cultural initiatives, political debates, or current events.
