2° EXPANSION of beneficiary students in the Scholarship RANKING LIST a.y. 2025/2026

The EDiSU Board of Directors, meeting in extraordinary session on May 13, passed a resolution to proceed with the budget adjustment in which the 2nd enlargement of the Scholarship ranking list was made.

With this expansion, 86.6% of the total financial need was covered by guaranteeing the scholarship to 809 eligible students enrolled in the first year (79.5%) and 1.760 eligible students enrolled in years after the first (87.2%). A 3rd and final expansion is expected in June, which should enable about 90% of the total financial need to be covered.

Also at the same extraordinary meeting, the EDiSU Board of Directors voted to increase the allocation for extraordinary contributions from €100,000 to €250,000.

It is also announced that new scholarship payments will be made shortly.

EDiSU informs that as a result of the allocation of additional resources and revocation of the benefit awarded, it was possible to expand the number of Scholarship recipients for A.Y. 2025/2026.

Specifically:

  • 230 enrolled for the first-time in the FIRST YEAR of all courses and
  • 472 enrolled in SUBSEQUENT YEARS of all courses

currently marked in the ranking list as eligible have become SCHOLARSHIP BENEFICIARIES.

In the section “UPSHOT RANKING“, accessible from the “Online Student Services” restricted area, participants in the competition for the awarding of scholarships for the academic year 2025/2026, including students from the “filter/open semester” held in Pavia or in another University, can view their personal situation in relation to the final ranking list updated to May 2026 (Ranking 9).

(P.S. It should be noted that any changes in the ranking position, between the final one published on December 4, 2025 and the current one, are “normal” and usually attributable to “revocation” of the benefit or loss of eligibility requirements for receiving the scholarship. This ranking also includes students from the “filter/open semester” held at another university; students were included according to the score given to them).

Student recipients are reminded that in order to collect the monetary portion of the grant they must:

  • enter, in the “EDiSU USER PROFILE section “IBAN“, the IBAN code and other data related to the bank account in the name or co-owned by the grantee;
  • confirm, in the section “STATEMENT FOR COLLECTION OF SCHOLARSHIP“, that they are NOT recipients of other Scholarships incompatible with the one issued by EDiSU (see art. 11 of the announcement).

Payments will be made according to the methods and timelines indicated in the Notice and Instructions for Collecting the Monetary Share of the Scholarship on the EDiSU website.
