Collegio Griziotti aims, through its facilities and activities support male and female students numbering 90 in total to complete successfully their degree Courses at the University of Pavia and find employment.  The College also aims to promote more advanced studies offered by the University, namely MSc and PhD Courses, one-year MA Courses  and medical specialty Courses. The College therefore is also home to young people who want to perfect their studies to higher levels.  Further, for a number of years the College offer places to foreign students from EU and other countries and similarly encourages studies abroad for its Italian students through through the Erasmus  scheme and specific exchange schemes between the University of Pavia and other Universities.

Cultural and sport life

The large number of foreign studens living in College promotes a strong international environment that integrates different cultures, through a variety of socializing activities.
The College promotes direct participation of its students to a number of cultural and sporting events,  intercollegiate as well as University-or city-wide. Interested students are able to attend music concerts or stage productions at Teatro Comunale Fraschini; internal conferences, seminars and meetings; tournaments and sport activities in general, both individual and team-based, for which College ensures strong support.


For many years, students have had an active involvement in the organization of collegiate life  and are regularly consulted by the Rector of the College. College work is organised by a Students’ Committee and several sub-Committees that deal with specific areas of College work: cultural activities and theater, sports, information technology and library.
